Pushchair-friendly walk at Bookham East & Eastwick Park, Mole Valley: Bookham Common Butterfly Walk, North Downs West

Walk through one of the best woods in England for sighting the elusive purple emperor butterfly, Britain's second largest butterfly, with a wingspan of over 8cm. It was first recorded here in June 2017, and now thrives here thanks to decades of work. The route is around 2.4 km. Maintained by National Trust.
